Advertising photography may include people presented in the frame and can do without them at all. Photographs with the people presented on them are taken for posters, electioneering campaigns, advertising, products or services, advertisements of films or plays. On these photos man appears either as advertised object, or as its user.

People began to use the photo in advertising approximately in the 70s. Certainly, the images of happy people, advertising some products or services on the posters are used up to this time. Let’s take for example the pills modalert, only the happy and not sleepy smiling people can advertise them to assure the customer that these pills will really help you and will make you more cheerful. But many years ago advertisements were painted not in a very realistic manner. The art of photography did not have the great quality of the image, and large posters demanded perfect smile, beautiful shapes, and image clarity.
